It makes sense given the context, but it didn't seem as functional as the costume in the Cap movie and something about the hood/helmet was just off. What did you guys think?

Completely agree. And, as you said, it's even worse considering that his costume in his own flick was perfect. There was something about the way his mask fit over his nose that was really weird. It made me think of the old Henson puppet Yorick from Sam & Friends.

I dunno, it also felt off to me, but what you gonna do? I assume they want it bright blue so it sticks out amongst the dark blue glow of the aliens. Which is the correct choice, otherwise you'd have a transformers like situation.

Definitely preferred the one from the Captain America film, but I think his Avengers one fitted well with everyone elses, his WW2 era one probably would have looked a little out of place.

I dunno, I disliked it in the trailer, but thought it was fine when I saw it in action.

I thought the costume was alright except for the helmet/mask. Like the second he rips it off during the big final battle I went "you know what... actually I kind of like it now."

What bothered me the most was Hawkeye's costume. It was weird.

I thought it looked weird at first, but I quickly got used to it. It's probably as modern as they could make the suit to be.

I felt like the uniform looked "cheap" in this movie. It didn't look right to me at all.
