Alfred Hitchcock
Melanie Daniels visits a pet shop in San Francisco to pick up a myna bird for her aunt. Avian shenanigans happen, and the more time that passes, the more ferocious and frequent the attacks get. Hitchcock is quoted as saying the message of the movie is one of "complacency".
