So, how "unrated" is the unrated version of this?

I want to show my 14-year old brother The Chronicles of Riddick, bu the only version our local Blockbuster has is the director's cut. I understand that this version will probably be more violent, but hey: I've shown this kid Bad Boys II. Against my better judgement. I'm a horrible/amazing brother. Anyway, how much more objectionable is the unrated version of TCoR, and is it still relatively safe for 14-year-old eyes?

I have no idea but I remember it being a fairly blood less movie but I don't know which version I was watching or which one I have on DVD. He is 14 though that's old enough to watch Bad Boy 2 and this even at full violence level.

He says a few more naughty words and some of the violence is put back in.  Nothing too dramatic.

Just let your brother watch Pitch Black and Dark Fury followed by playing Escape from Butcher Bay.
