I got a chance to see MI4 on Imax (which I loved. I think its the best of the series to date) and saw the prologue trailer for TDKR. The prologue trailer looked amazing but I couldnt for the life of me understand a single word Bane said. his voice was very muffled. All I could hear was some sort of german accent.

Now my question is Banes voice final or is there a chance they might clear it up and make it understandable.

I was able to find a bootleg trailer for the prologue. Not a great video angle, missing out a lot of whats being shown.

Every impression about the prologue comes with the complaint about Bane's voice. I'd imagine they are going to change it.

I thought the prologue was spectacular except for the voice. I only really got about half of what he was saying. Perhaps it's better in the quieter scenes, but in the loud action scenes it could be an issue. I think if Nolan doesn't doesn't change it, people may be discouraged, it's a lot to ask people. It's one thing to have a character being hard to understand, but when the character is the main villain, you have to make a few concessions. I think V for Vendetta did a great job having a character speak behind a mask and being easy to understand.

Nolan has said that ADR work is still being done and that the voice will be clearer in the finished product.

Yeah, I imagine they'll still be working on it since all of his voice work is being dubbed in, so there's plenty of tinkering to be done.

Voice was difficult to understand, but dammit if I don't love that exotic-sounding accent. It's like a mix between an eccentric British accent, a German accent and something out of Switzerland.
