If they have to wrap up one recent not great cancelled Sci-Fi series I'd much rather see an continuation of V, the last episode got quite crazy with all of the deaths and overall just being pretty bleak, not sure where they could have gone from there.
 
Not that I was particularly bothered about either ending.

Wasn't there a planed Stargate movie, but its been in development hell?

Stargate Revolution - Third SG-1 movie - Canned 
Stargate Extinction - Atlantis movie - Canned 
Stargate Universe movie (potentially combining ideas and plot lines from all three movies to wrap the franchise up) - never got off the ground 
 
There will be no Stargate for the foreseeable future.

I watched the whole season of the Event but I am more interested in the concept than the actual show. It would be interesting to find out what happens should there be another season but I doubt that Syfy would pick up a failing after dropping Universe when ratings dropped - but then again, i hear it was replaced by wrestling so I guess they will do what the like.

Did anyone enjoy The Event? Most people seem to have never heard of it, and those that have did not have kind things to say.
