For those of you who are beginning to get to know my tastes and preferences a lot of you will be aware that I have a bit of a funny issue with sexual content that is violent or as Rorie puts it "rapey"  ;)
 
I have been pondering about whether or not I should watch this film as I am nervous I will be confronted by what I have heard 
 
 
Can you guys advise me as to whether its bad or not? or if its such a good film its worth me checking out?

If you cannot stand rape/sexual violence at all, don't watch this movie because if there were ever a non-porno movie that would disturb you, this is it. But the movie itself is great, and the mystery is amazing, although don't read Rorie's review WHO FUCKING RUINED THE TWIST. But yeah, it's a well-directed movie, and the really disturbing rape scene lasts about 1-2 minutes, I'd reccomend skipping the scene and watching the movie.

I can deal with it sometimes, I found Irriversible difficult to watch but I handled it, but you say its pretty bad? maybe I should watch it but skip those bits lol

@brainboy77: omg, wtf are you talking about? No one nowadays have .. such weak ... nerves, anyway, on the internet one is exposed to much harsher things, so.

Besides, come on, just for the sake of seeing semi-nude scenes... m-mm it's worth to watch the movie

@Dramadeur: I'm not turned off at all by rape, violence, etc in film, but your post somehow made me feel pretty damn awkward. Also, the OP was asking about the Swedish film, the photos that you creepily linked to are from the American version.
