@not_a_bumblebee: My original point was that the song was on the nose - you know, obvious. And then I cited the same example you cited again more obviously (Vikings and Sweden - GET IT!?!!). 
 
No super clever. Obvious and stupid, fitting only in the most superficial way.

I'm not sure "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" needs a remake, but the latter two definitely do. For me personally though, the first movie didn't really translate into what was great about the books so I'm very excited about Fincher's work of art.

Looks like the trailer got taken down. I'm cautiously optimistic about this movie. I think Fincher can do a good job with it.

What's up with the old black and white police cars? We haven't had them for decades (I live in Sweden). 
Any flashbacks in the Swedish films? Perhaps Fincher just found them more aesthetically pleasing.

I freaking loved the trailer. I'm so tired of these bland, spoil-the-plot trailers that we see so much of these days. This was stylish and effect. I started off not liking the Zep track, but by the end I was into it!

This is probably the best trailer i've seen. I didn't have much interest in this when I heard about it, even though I really like David Fincher's films, but now I really want to see it.

This is one of the worst trailers I've ever seen. This is one of those things that people make to parody bad action trailers but it's A REAL TRAILER. THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT WORSE.

I am tempted to cut a parody of this trailer using footage from something even slower, like R.W. Fassbender's Berlin Alexanderplatz, but edited into a FUCKING FRENZY to the fastest German speed metal I can find.
