Also an article.

Bonus: Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are also going to create the soundtrack for the movie.

I definitely preferred her before. But she looks kinda hot in her goth look  (:
She does look a lot like her foreign counterpart , which is good!

As much as I am against this remake, she pulls it off quite well.

I will say this, she looks the part and nothing is wrong with her look, but I prefer Noomi because she is hotter :).

Nice, though I hope the cover shoot is just that and not a sign of her being sexualised. One of the best things about the first film is how she encapsulates so many different fetishes and yet is played totally straight.

Closer to the picture I got in my head from the books, but not quite there. A step in the right direction though.

This is not a remake.

David Fincher is a master film-maker.

As much as I love Noomi Rapace in that role I'm totally willing to give David Fincher and Rooney Mara the benefit of the doubt in their own adaptation of Stieg Larsson's mega-successful novel.

@CashBailey: It's strange that people are calling it a remake when the Coen's just did a readaptation of True Grit and everyone understood what that was. Perhaps it's just the small gap between the Swedish version getting a release and this but even so, even if they came out on the same day, a David Fincher version is going to be different from a Niels Arden Oplev version.

You're absolutely right.

This cannot possibly be considered a remake, but just another adaptation of Stieg Larsson's book.

She looks good enough I guess, but I still find the idea of making an english version of The girl with the Dragon Tattoo weird. As someone who's swedish and read the books I mean. So Daniel Craig is playing the male lead and she's playing Lisbeth, and they're filming in Sweden, while talking english. How does that make sense?
