The Golden Girls was an American sitcom that aired from 1985-1992 and featured four independent, "golden age" women enjoying their lives in Miami. The characters were sultry vixen Blanche, ditzy Rose, frequently exasperated Dorothy, and the wise-cracking Sophia.
