Jim Halsey was on his way to San Diego returning a vehicle, when he decided to pickup a hitchhiker on the way. later Jim would realize how dangerous this man really is and finds himself in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

Writer Eric Red has stated the film was inspired by the song "Riders On The Storm" by the Doors.
