@Christina: You and me, we agree. I really dug the second one, and I thought the third one was interesting if problematic. It has great ideas I hope they'll get around to putting in a movie.

@TheFreeMan: Yeah, teenaged angst alone is what makes me want to stay away from it. But at the same time I realize, these really aren't meant for me so as long as they offer something intelligent for it's intended audience then I'm cool with it.

@Atary77: Well, to be fair, a lot of the "angst" I've noticed stems from the fact that the main character got put into a competition where people were impaling each other with spears, so it's probably not right to label it so (at least beyond the romantic stuff). I don't know much about PTSD but I've read that the books strongly imply that's what Katniss suffers from.
