This 2003 homage to the 1969 classic sees the action shift to LA. The character of Charlie Croker returns, now played by Mark Wahlberg, to lead a new team performing tricks new and old this time in the name of revenge. And millions of dollars worth of gold.

Plot
A team led by Charlie Croker is successful in a heist job done in Italy. The team celebrates, and discusses what they'll do with the pounds and pounds of gold they stole. On their way home, one of the team members, Steve, betrays the team and kills old timer and original leader John Bridger. Steve takes the money, and then leaves everyone for dead... or at least without a working van.
To avenge John's death, Charlie puts his team back together in attempt to get their money back and make sure Steve gets what he deserves. In order to do so, Charlie had to get the help of, as well as approval of John's daughter, Stella. She is hesitant, but then agrees to work with the crew.
Complications arise, fighting ensues, and it's an intense adventure about getting what you deserve... and mini coopers driven by Mos Def and Jason Statham. And then Seth Green is the funny guy. Trust me, it works.
