The Karate Kid is the coming of age drama following the life of Daniel Larusso, the new kid in town. After being harassed up by the local thugs from the karate school, he comes under the wing of the wise old man, Noriyuki "Pat" Morita, who endeavors to teach him karate using his own unique style. The Karate Kid is a classic underdog story that shows us the value of heart and dedication over strength.
