Gangs of rogues have been shooting up the small local towns. The locals blame the Comanche tribe and demand action. At the same time a group of men dressed in military garb have been attacking Native American villages. Calamity Jane must find out who is really behind the attacks.
A criminal purporting to be Emperor Napoleon, gathers together four notorious outlaws -- John Wesley Harding, Sam Bass, Eavis Joe Tick, and Wooden Leg Gibson. He has a plan to steal a large cache or weapons from a military fort whilst most of the troops are on maneuvers.
Calamity Jane's initial impression of a stranger that has drifted into town as a gunslinger turns to shock and surprise when he identifies himself as Leam Canary, her long-lost father. But joy turns to confusion when Jane discovers he is a member of a gang of bank robbers.
A slick-talking, well-bred, but entirely psychopathic killer comes to town and terrorizes the region on a killing and robbing rampage. Calamity Jane swears she will bring him in for justice -- but how is it that he appears to be in several places at once?
Notorious outlaw Bill Doolin is broken out of prison by his gang and immediately carries out a plan to hijack a train shipping 10 tons of dynamite. The military decides to attack and destroy the train with a cannon equipped train, but Calamity Jane's beloved horse Dakota is aboard.
A traveling actor comes to town and Captain John O'Rourke becomes increasingly convinced that the actor is actually John Wilkes Booth. Due to a childhood trauma of John's, when the actor leaves town he chases after him hellbent on getting revenge for Lincoln's murder and his brother's legacy.
A man's incredibly racist actions cause a local tribe to proclaim war on his settlement. Calamity Jane along with a handful of cavalry soldiers arrive to help out, but the fact that the soldiers are African-American leads to great friction with the settler.
A ruthless oil tycoon discovers that there's oil on Comanche land and pulls some strings which allows him to use the government's military to force a relocation of Chief Quanna's tribe. But Chief Chaynah knows his rights by law of the treaty he signed and refuses to leave.
Calamity Jane's strong obsession to keep stolen money away from a gang of thieves turns deadly when the gang turns to be quite large and Wild Bill Hickok is injured. Now hold up in a shack, they must fend off the criminals whilst they wait for help to arrive.
A group of rogue Confederate soldiers attempt to invigorate the Confederacy by assassinating President Grant whilst he is attending the Centennial Exposition. Unfortunately for them, Calamity Jane and her stalwart companion Joe Presto also happen to be in attendance.
Calamity Jane is captured then viciously beaten and tortured before being left to die in the desert. Luckily her friend Joe Presto finds her and barely manages to save her life. As Calamity Jane struggles to cling to life, Wild Bill Hickok goes absolutely berserk and swears bloody vengeance.
