Simba's daughter is the key to a resolution of a bitter feud between Simba's pride and the outcast pride led by the mate of Scar when she meets another cub called Kovu and starts a bond between them.
Simba's daughter was originally named Aisha, but was changed when Disney realized this was already the name of the Yellow Ranger of the popular "Power Rangers" television show.
