Paul Thomas Anderson is one of my favourite directors working today. There Will Be Blood was one of my absolute favourite movies from the last decade. The trailer for his new film The Master is very eerily familiar to the first trailer for There Will Be Blood, but it is remarkably effect nonetheless. I cannot wait for this movie. Joaquin Phoenix looks completely deranged and psychotic. What is everyone else's thoughts? Creeped out? Meh?

The creepiest parts were when he was shaping that nipple in the sand and the last part of the trailer. It was more intriguing than creepy for me. Also, what was he drinking? It looked like oil coming from a tank or a car.

I thought it was more weird than creepy, but I thought what made him insane was from when he was drinking what looks like car fuel.

If any of you want a creepy trailer, look up Anime Network's Trailer for Elfen Lied . The text and some of the scene flashes at that last part haunted me for two days straight.

@Bigheart711: i looked it up and i agree it is a little creepy. I was more disturbed by the drag me to hell trailer, though.

As for The Master, I agree it was a fascinating trailer, but I am not anticipating this film at all. Distorting the facts behind the creation of a real religion (the film is on Scientology) for the purposes of a story is despicable. Can't people have a little respect?

Here's what I was talking about if any of you are too lazy to look the Elfen Lied trailer up.

@VioletEyedDragon: The "Drag Me to Hell" trailer was more scary than the actual movie to me and I think "The Master" does have a chance of getting some controversy over its story too.
