Is the movie any good if you know the plot twist?

Sure, I like this and Unbreakable a lot.  The plot twist was pretty good first time if it wasn't spoilt as the problem is that if you know it you look for it in every scene and it seems obvious in retrospect.

I didn't like this movie at all, and I knew the twist beforehand. I didn't like Unbreakable either, and I didn't know the twist for that, so go figure.

sounds like SOMEONE hates Shyamalan!(understandable)
I think it's good. I think a movie is garbage if you can't enjoy it after you know the twist. Look for clues about it though!

Certainly something I've been wondering. Don't think I'll give it a go, though.

Hell Ya! Knowing the plot twist is like watching a movie with the Directors commentary. Each time you learn and see small bits of trivia you missed the first time.

Not knowing the twist certainly helps your enjoyment. You'll pick out all the clever hints, but you'll also pick out how annoying you find the mom, how silly some of the scenes play out, and frankly, how silly the whole thing is. It's must-see. It's just not a great film, or even a good one in my opinion.

As for Unbreakable, that's one of those movies that I can appreciate, but never have had the desire to see again.
