When the Smurfs are chased out of their beloved village by Gargamel and end up in New York City, they must find a literal Blue Moon to go back home, all while learning lessons about believing, and going with your heart, and other stuff.

Trivia:

At one point, Quentin Tarantino was in negotiations for the role of Brainy Smurf.
