Two lovers try to leave their lives behind, but things quickly spin out of control.
The writer of the film, Joel Edgerton, had shelved the script originally because he was not confident in it. His brother, director Nash Edgerton, found and read the script. Nash liked it enough to convince Joel to allow him to make it into a movie.
Raymond Yale ( David Roberts) and Carla Smith ( Claire van der Boom) are having an affair behind their spouses backs. They have been planning on leaving them just as soon as things come into place. One day, Carla notices her husband Greg ( Anthony Hayes) stashing a bag filled with money and hatches a plan to make off with it. She wrangles Ray into the plan after he is at first reluctant. However, the plan starts to spiral out of control as bodies begin to accumulate.
