The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)

Edit this Page
Joseph Sargent Director previously directed White Lightning

A New York City subway car is taken over and the passengers are held captive.

Trivia:

The New York City subway that is held captive during this movie is the 6 Train on its way to Pelham Bay Park, departing at 1:23 (hence the name). Because of this, for years the NYC Metro system refused to let any train depart that station at that time for fear that it might cause a copycat crime.

Listen fella I hope you take this in the right spirit but after this is all over you should seek out psychiatric help.
