 So apparently the show's producer has decided to let go all of the show's writers for the next season, and to just pick up freelancers when needed.

Do you guys think that this will affect the show positively, negatively or have no real effect. Are you for or against this decision?

I don't know about this... Hopefully the show's quality can remain intact but we won't know until we see season 2.

I still need to watch the previous 2 episodes.

 @RE_Player:
Are you still making crazy threads?

Does this mean that they are going to get completely new writers? if so, it's actually kind of refreshing, if a little risky.

Could this not be potentially harmful to the flow of scripts? I haven't seen the show myself, but just the idea sounds like it could be a negative thing

I don't see any positives from this. Do they even need a new take on the writing? It'll only have been 6 eps.

@JonathanMoore: I can see some positivity in what you say. Sometimes, risks DO pay off and make memorable shows.

I hope this doesn't sour the feeling of the show as I like it a lot. As I haven't read the comic I don't know if the feel of the story changes dramatically but if it does, then the Producer is probably searching for writers who are more capable at writing for those latter parts.

Very risky and this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Why fix something that isn't broken? What was wrong with the writers from this premiere season?

Seeing as how poorly written the show was for the first three episodes, and assumably the rest of the season, this can only be good news. The show has been a complete waste so far and maybe AMC have realised that people still want them to be a prestige network, not an idiot's network.
