We've got something like three weeks until the season 2.5, or whatever you'd like to call it, of The Walking Dead hits AMC on February 12th. Whatever your thoughts on the first half of the season, I think we can still all agree that it's still in a pretty high percentile in terms of your entertainment choices on cable, let alone television. AMC might have cut its budget, but they're still heavily invested in the show; the second season, and its presumed high ratings, are being used as a lead-in to one of AMC's new shows, something called Comic Book Men with Kevin Smith, advertised as "a show that is for Fanboys by Fanboys" populated by "snarky comic aficionados with an encyclopedic knowledge of every Marvel back issue" and oh god does that sound like something I don't ever want to watch.
Anyway, if you're in the mood for more Walking Dead, feel free to speculate on the meaning of any of the moments in the clip above. Who's Rick yelling at? Does Carl holding a gun indicate that one of the more shocking moments of the comics is going to come true? Are they finally going to leave that farm behind? Let us know what you think in the comments. In the meantime, here are a couple of clips from the February 12th episode:
