Hopefully they keep Robert Kirkman away from the writing room this season. The script for the season one episode he wrote was atrocious.

Didn't Frank Darabont himself write the script for the first episode?

The gulf in quality between the excellent pilot and the rest of the episodes was a little strange. If every episode packed the punch of that pilot, it would already be one of my favorite series ever, but now I'm fairly skeptical of what's to come.

It reminds me of The Black Donnelly's. The pilot was written & directed by Paul Haggis and was incredible, and although the rest of the season was okay it was a steep drop in quality from the initial episode.

Looking back it's clear that the middle episodes were lacking. I hope they can keep the quality up all way through.
