A stupid thought that changes the whole dynamic of Thor(Spoilers)

At what point in the movie does Loki take control of the professor? It's revealed at the end, but we shouldn't immediately assume that Loki takes control then. Throughout the movie, the professor is never really pro-Thor.

Anyways, it's a fun angle to think about.

I would say when Loki falls from the bridge, it probably destroyed his physical form and his spirit needed to possess someone else.

I think we will see Loki in his body again and the whole thing with the professor is just to show how Loki tricks and manipulate people.

Am I missing something here?

Magic doesn't require feasible internal logic, that's why comic books have so much magic in them.

@Christina: Not really. If you watched the post-credits sequence, you see that Loki is influencing/controlling the professor. I was simply stating that if Loki had in fact been controlling the professor the entire movie, it sort of changes the dynamic of the film.

@woo: I didn't watch the post credit sequence, that explains it.

I really hope Loki is not the bad guy in the Avengers movie, he was way too ineffectual to be a big enough threat. They will have to have a roster of bad guys.

I'm hoping the villains of the Avengers movie will be Loki and the Hulk.

i thought it was just coincidence he said the same thing as loki

maybe you are right and THE WHOLE TIME loki was controlling the guy.  the scene where they get drunk together and the guy tells thor to get the girl could have been part of the plan

interesting thought.

There are a lot of possibilities as to how Loki manages to control the professor.

It could be that he has gained power of some sort which makes him control people.

Or he has diminished into nothing but still he wants revenge thus taking the form of the doctor to seek vengeance with Thor.
