It's Thor Thursday! That means it's time for a brand spanking new trailer, courtesy of Yahoo Movies. This is a little more plot-focused than previous teasers, so if you're sensitive to things like "spoilers," this might be more than your little heart can bear. For the rest of us? Let's all just sit back and soak in the Norsemen from Space craziness.

Seems like it can go either way. Excited to see it, though

Yahoo! is still a thing, huh?
Haven't heard that crazy "Yahoooooo-oo" advert noise in a loooooong time.

I was kinda interested until that council scene - the trailer lost me from then on

Wow! Gotta say this is probably the (non-Nolan) superhero flick that has the best chances of being good. Does anyone else get a badass backwards Encino Man vibe? Question though...

I'm ashamed to say that I've never read a Thor comic, so how is the human's awareness of Norse Gods handled in the Marvel universe? Do people know about the Thor myths, and then he shows up, or is it the Walking Dead kind of thing where there's a zombie outbreak in a would where people have conveniently never heard of zombies?

I expect it to wear thin quickly, but I do enjoy how the whole "Thor out of water" thing plays in the trailer. I almost would prefer this to be a comedy, because that aspect is the most interesting to me.

That's the first trailer I've seen for Thor that actually made me feel something other than dread. Sweet!

Looks very dumb but it could be fun.

not as good as the last two marvel trailers

Well this trailer makes the movie look a little better. Still I'm placing it firmly with Green Lantern and X-Men: First Class in the "will be either awesome or completely terrible" pile. I might go see it in theaters though it at least looks like it will be a fun ride.

Well this has helped sustain my hype for this movie. I got a Transformers 2/3 vibe with the whole the battle comes to earth stuff still looking good

I'm really hoping this is going to be good.

We need more Norse mythology based movies. Who's with me?

Wow, all the other stuff I've seen for Thor looked pretty lame but that was an awesome trailer.

I'm all for more Norse Mythology films, but you know actual Norse Mythology and not Marvel's "95% of the writers didn't know anything about the Mythology " Mythology.

Thor is there with X-Men: First Class in the "these could be the two best comic films of the year" category.

I have no idea what ya'll are talking about, that looked awful.

Edit: by awful I don't mean that the trailer looked bad, I meant that the movie looks bad if that's the best they could do with the trailer.
