In case anyone hasn't seen it or wants to view it again, Thor is now available on Netflix Instant. It was a pretty entertaining movie and if you haven't seen The Avengers yet, check this out beforehand.

Don't it is the worst of the Avenger lead-in films.  To save you some time the cube-thingee is introduced as the macguffin of the Avenger universe.

@Ghost_of_GhostDad: I'd say it's the most significant tie-in movie as it sets up Loki.

Thor was awesome. Could have done with less Natalie Portman but other than that it was great. Of all the Marvel movies to come I'd say I am looking forward to Thor 2 the most.

I rewatched I and really loved it a second time around. I didn't like that much the first time for some reason though. Thor has never been and never will be a favorite character of mine but this film made me appreciate the character a little more.

Watched it today and really didn't mind it. I've never really liked Thor as a character but it was surprisingly watchable.

@TheHumanDove:

I agree. I went to go see it at the theater because of the good early reviews, and for someone who had never heard of Thor before, I was really impressed. Chris Hemsworth was awesome as Thor, and Kenneth Branagh, who is known for directing Shakespeare films, did a great job directing the film. Natalie Portman was the only flaw for me. I think she's a great actress, but her character was just a typical love interest.

Thor on Asgard was pretty hollow and dry. Thor on Earth was generally more entertaining.

The Loki storyline was handled decently, and that's good, as it's the most important part. Everything on earth made me want to rip my soul out, and the natalie portman romance was so unbelievable it hurt. But it wasn't a good movie.

I haven't seen this since the midnight premiere in IMAX, and maybe it was due to the energy in the room at a midnight premiere, but this is my favorite Avengers lead in movie.

I liked Thor more than I thought I would but I felt more attached to Captain America as a character than I did to Thor.

I really liked Thor! The parts with Natalie Portman were pretty bad (as expected) but everything else was great.
