Brannagh's slanty camera angles in 3D gave me a pounding headache, and were just generally ugly. Glad he's gone.

(I felt like the only person who noticed the number of diagonal shots in that film. It drove me nuts.)

Is it just me or has every single news post about Thor--be it on Screened or not--had that picture of shirtless Chris Hemsworth?

Portman said she only did the film because of Branagh, so I suspect she won't return. Although if she did that'd be awesome, she was pretty much the only reason I saw the movie but I ended up liking it anyway. I suspect Thor 2 will have less tilted camera shots. Although the beginning of Thor 2 would be weird without Portman considering how Thor ended...

If the Batman movies can swap out actresses I'm sure Thor could too. Not that I'd want them to... I love Natalie Portman. :(

If Branagh is going I hope he does another series of Wallander, I kinda miss that show.

I cannot express how happy I am to see another person mention Wallander. I would love for Branagh & Hiddleston to return to another series or two of that show. It was so. good.

Maybe someone could explain the joke for me: What is "__ 2: __ Boogaloo" in reference to?

The first was good and entertaining so I think I can understand why the would do a sequel.

As long as Kat Dennings is absent, we're good.

That'd be Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo.  It turned into the default comedy subtitle for sequels, thanks to MST3K and similar places having so much fun with it.  There's a TV Tropes page about it if you want some more examples.

As long as they have Chris Hemsworth and his abs, I'll be happy.

No, you weren't the only one. It was ridiculous.
