According to a bunch of News outlets, Tony Scott jumped off a bridge in San Pedro.

I really hope this isn't true, but if it is R.I.P Mr. Scott, you were a great filmmaker.

Wow, that is really shocking if true, the man seemed attached to pretty much every movie in the works. Sad day for Hollywood, RIP.

This is so sad to hear. Also, I watched Man on Fire earlier tonight and I'm feeling really weirded out now.

Yeah, this is really terrible. I wish I had something more eloquent to say other than "suicides are sad and if you're feeling depressed you should talk to somebody."

Man this sucks. It really came out of nowhere.

Perhaps not eloquent but very true.

So incredibly sad and shocking. Sadly I haven't actually seen many of the movies he directed but rest assured, I'll be remedying that this week.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Very sad news.

Man, it always sucks to hear about a death of someone you like but suicide hits way too close to home for me.

True Romance is one of my favorite movies. I can't imagine what his brother Ridley is going through.

Just woke up to hear this. Tony Scott is one of my all-time favorite directors. Are his movies Oscar-worthy? No, but they were entertaining as fuck! He had a unique visual style to his films both in his use of quick cuts as well as the experiments he would try (like his work with the film stock on Domino). I'm sad as shit to hear that he decided that this was a solution he could choose.

RIP good sir.

Just an update. Tony Scott had been recently diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer before his death.

I got nothing else to say except "that sucks" really enjoyed his movies.

In a weird way, this makes me feel a little bit better, but it's still tragic.

You can see the bridge from my house.

This really saddens me, especially since I liked most of his movies.

He will truly be missed. T_T ( In case of confusion, the emoticon used is for crying, which I feel like doing right now.)
