This exact shot, but with Denzel Washington in the costume, and the song "Cop Killer" playing in the background. Teaser trailer achieved!

Let's just go ahead and call this Tony Scott day here on Screened. Between the kind of awesome Unstoppable trailer, and this little piece of news, it's other Scott brother's day to shine.

Deadline is reporting that Scott has signed on to produce and direct the recently-optioned graphic novel Nemesis, which comes from Kick-Ass and Wanted creator Mark Millar (as well as Steven McNiven). Nemesis which just had its first issue come out back in March, tells the story of a vigilante on the hunt for vengeance against those who killed his parents. The twist? His parents were villains! And so is he! It's the reverse Batman we've always dreamed of, with a masked vigilante killing cops instead of crooks. That oughta go over real well with the police unions.

While this sounds like it could be a pretty cool project under Scott's directorial eye, it seems unlikely that we'll see this come to fruition for a while. Scott is purportedly eying one of three other projects to be his next film. I guess that means we'll get a few more installments of the comic before we see the movie version.

Also, the Reverse Batman is the new best name for a sexual position ever.

I loved the Kiss Ass GN, and the film was alright to, but not sure about this one.
I just wasn't a fan of the comic, granted I only read the first 2 issues but I couldn't see it getting any better so I stopped reading it.

The media is gonna have a field day with this.... unless of course they Wanted in up, and though he's killing cops, they are CORRUPT cops and really he's just a tragic figure bent on revenge who will redeem himself in the final act by sacrificing himself to save an orphan puppy

People bought Nemesis?
I also wonder if it will make Kick-ass "look like shit".

The Reverse Batman is just a Flying Dutchman crossed with a Japanese Pinwheel.

What's with Millar's work getting optioned before it's even completed? Call me cynical but Millar seems to be more interested in optioning properties and collecting royalty cheques before the actual comic is started, let alone in progress.
