This exact shot, but with Denzel Washington in the costume, and the song "Cop Killer" playing in the background. Teaser trailer achieved!
Deadline is reporting that Scott has signed on to produce and direct the recently-optioned graphic novel Nemesis, which comes from Kick-Ass and Wanted creator Mark Millar (as well as Steven McNiven). Nemesis which just had its first issue come out back in March, tells the story of a vigilante on the hunt for vengeance against those who killed his parents. The twist? His parents were villains! And so is he! It's the reverse Batman we've always dreamed of, with a masked vigilante killing cops instead of crooks. That oughta go over real well with the police unions.
While this sounds like it could be a pretty cool project under Scott's directorial eye, it seems unlikely that we'll see this come to fruition for a while. Scott is purportedly eying one of three other projects to be his next film. I guess that means we'll get a few more installments of the comic before we see the movie version.
Also, the Reverse Batman is the new best name for a sexual position ever.
