Trading Places (1983)

Edit this Page
John Landis Director previously directed An American Werewolf in London

A snobbish investor and a con-artist find their roles switched as a part of a one dollar bet between two wealthy millionaires.

Trivia:

John Landis' running gag "See you next Wednesday" appears in this film as a poster for a fictitious film in Ophelia's apartment. The poster says "See You Next Wednesday" is directed by William Wyler and stars Laurence Olivier, Merle Oberon, and David Niven.
