This trailer is punchier than the last one. I mean that both literally and figuratively.

Reminds me of Salt.
Not having Gina Carano beat the crap out of people would be have been a massive waste of talent.

Or Hanna. I really liked Hanna.
Weird how suddenly we have three movies to feature a female supersoldier/spy on the run and they all seem to be retooling the Bourne movies for a female lead. But this is Soderberg so I'm sure they movie will at least look interesting. He has a great knack for cinematography.
I'm sorry, but this just looks so generic and stupid.
FASSBENDER!
I don't approve of Fassenbender cameos, I want 100% Fassenbender.
I was just listening to that song to study...now I feel like punching someone!!!
This actually looks like a female action hero done right. Unlike most action movies with a female protagonist Haywaire feels (judging from the trailers at least) really gender neutral (in lack of a better word). Gina Carano looks like (and is portrayed as) a weapon more than anything else. She is more than just some hot piece of ass (Colombiana, Tomb Raider). Se gets the same kind of treatment as would be expected for a male action hero like Jason Statham or The Rock. Real girl power. Not the stripper kind (Sucker Punch).
They play a dangerous game though, bringing in so many famous faces for her to punch in. It's good for marketing but if not done right I think there's a real risk of losing the audience. I kinda don't want Fassbender to die.
You'd figure after Bourne and Salt, the CIA would stop betraying all those agents they trained so well :)
Seriously though. Good for Gina Carano. She's been awesome probably forever, but I only learned about her when she was Crush in the 2008 version of American Gladiators (which was successful, so naturally NBC cancels it). Hope this is successful for her.
I don't even know what to say. The pedigree of talent in front of the camera and behind it is kind of amazing. If this is the direction action movies go, I would not complain.
This looks SICK...in a good way
Looks awesome, hope it's more than a bunch of noise. The cast looks very promising.
Mitsubishi EVO X car chase...please...please...please. Looks like a generally good romp. Fingers crossed.
LOL Gina Carano, i'm in
I'm super excited about this movie, but really? Did you just kill off Fassbender in the trailer!? This had better be some kind of misdirection.
I'm confused; how did they get all that talent to be in a vehicle for MMA and American Gladiator star Gina Carano, of all people? Not that I'm complaining; Crush was pretty much the only Gladiator worth paying attention to, but it just seems a bit strange that all these big-name actors are playing supporting roles to someone who hasn't really been in anything of this caliber prior.
But hey, God knows that more action films need to be centered around female characters that can actually fend for themselves and don't need to be dragged along and saved by macho ass-kickers. If they manage to make her character and the story around her compelling, then I'm all for that.
Actually, now that I think of it, the thought of Gina Carano beating the crap out of a bunch of A-list movie stars is pretty amusing.
I love the way they have her doing Triangle chokes and Armbars as 'Action Moves' hopefully there be a flying omoplata in there somewere as well! :-)
I'd love to have that poster. Anything Soderbergh does, I'm in.
First I was like, hey Fassbender, AWESOME!! Then I was like, wait they just killed him that can't be him. Finally I was like oh shit they really killed him!?
Bourne copy-cat = eh whatever
Michael Fassbender = day 1 must see
