Running Man with kids? This movie is basically everything I've ever wanted.

An adaption of the popular novel of the same name, Hunger Games centers around a post-apocalyptic world where one boy and one girl from each of the 12 districts are chosen to fight to the death in a televised broadcast as a way to demonstrate the government's power.

This looks surprisingly faithful to the novel. Also, kudos to them for holding back and not spoiling second half of the movie in the trailer.
Hope all goes well, then we'll get films for the better books. Like the first but Catching Fire and Mockingjay are superior.
wow, that looked really good. I haven't read the books... I wonder if doing so might ruin the movies later.
Honestly, I was expecting something dull, but this looks surprisingly cool.
Umm...yeah.
CAN. NOT. WAIT.
I'm reading the book for this now. The movie is looking good. I'm looking forward to it.
After the first lackluster teaser trailer I am surprised this looks so good!
This is like the Battle Royale remake they never got to make. But it's own thing... so I'm glad. I'll definitely check this out. Might even give Battle Royale another watch, always dug that movie.
I was thinking more Battle Royal than Running Man, but yeah. Looks cool. The trailer didn't make it look like a cheap action movie with some variation of the "BWAHHHH" sounding every three seconds through it.
Really enjoyed the first book but I've forgotten a lot of the smaller details, looks very faithful from what i do remember and does seem quite promising.
I guess this is the closest we'll get to a American BAttle Royale...kinda reminds me of twilight not sure if thats good
The first book was good but the other two were pretty bad, maybe they should only make one film...
Yeah I am actually surprised. I was hoping for the best and expecting the worst but I have to admit they seem to be handling it with a serious enough tone. Looks pretty good.
So Battle Royale?

Aimed at the twilight market.
Only thing that trailer needed was more drunk Woody Harrelson.

It's actually deeper. The book doesn't have paper-thin and immediately likable characters (Katniss is a huge jerk, actually) and it's pretty brutal.
Trailer looks alright, just give me blood and flying heads.
"You get melodrama in my action flick!" "You got action in my drama movie!" two great tastes lets see how well they go together.
This kind of reminds me of Battle Royale. I hope it's just as violent
