Trailer: Blue Like Jazz
Donald Miller's autobiographical book about his struggles with his Christian faith at a liberal college in Portland was almost not made into a film; a Kickstarter campaign helped raise the funds for its creation. Apparently that includes money for space CGI.

I'm intrigued at the story. If "Losing My Religion" by REM is in there, sold.
OK, I am sold, sounds good...hopefully it will keep that tone and level of humor throughout.
This was very interesting book which I enjoyed. I am curious how it will translate into a movie.

Claire Holt is a beautiful, talented young actress. Soooo happy to see her doing well in the states. :D
Mostly interested in this cause I'm from Portland. Also, this trailer does not at all fit the tone of the book. Unless I was entirely missing something when I read it.

Okay, I love that they're using a Menomena song in the background, but...wouldn't it have made more sense to use jazz? I mean, that's like a given, right?
