Trailer: Lockout

Guy Pearce is "the best there is, but he's a loose cannon." He's sent to a maximum-security prison to rescue the President's daughter. That prison is also in space. I...I think I'm in love with this movie.

FoxMulderon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:21 p.m.

YEAH! There needs to be more good sci-fi in cinemas!

Street_Hawkon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:21 p.m.

WOW, they remade the plot of "Escape from L.A." all over again, but in 'SPACE'. Also, Guy Pearce must be channeling 80's Kurt Russell, because I sure get a "Big Trouble in Little China" Jack Burton vibe from his performance. I would mention "Escape from New York", but I that was a better movie then it's 90's sequel which uses the president daughter.

Escape from Space

Ronaldon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.

Or maybe it's Resident Evil 4 in Space. How do we know the prisoners aren't all Plagas infected with the goal of infecting Liam Neeson's daughter?

Osaladinon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:38 p.m.

Fuck yes.

Gatehouseon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:42 p.m.

Wait, so it's from the producers of Taken and Maggie Grace has been taken. Does that mean that Liam Neeson's the real president?

"It's impenetrable because....it's not on Earth."

Looks awesome. Also, I wanna get ripped like Pearce

MiniPatoon Jan. 26, 2012 at 3:49 p.m.

Not only has Ryan Davis brought back "bringing down a chandelier on your enemies and riding the rope up," but also "the loose cannon" trope as well. I salute you Mr. Davis!

Movies are becoming awesome again!

Looks awesome regardless. And only a few months away, yay!
