Trailer: Neighborhood Watch

This is apparently some kind of suburban-husbands-discover-aliens movie, in the vein of Attack The Block, but there's no hint of that in the trailer. Instead, have Jonah Hill and Ben Stiller mercilessly mocking a 14-year-old.

Nope!

Abeon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:11 p.m.

Holy crap, MOSS!

And by Moss I mean Richard Ayoade. He seems the only thing interesting about the trailer though...

kjgabelon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:12 p.m.

I also feel that "look at me" joke has been done a few times too.

Arc209on Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:15 p.m.

What? But I sure with those matching team jackets that everything will be alright.

Yup! That was my reaction too. I've gotten to the point where I'm kinda iffy on the other three but I'll see this for him.

Moviemaniacon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:27 p.m.

I got nothing out of this trailer, but I can wait.

Depthon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:37 p.m.

Could be good maybe? Looks like Ayoade is playing as Moss in this movie!

Tylea002on Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:41 p.m.

As with everyone else, my reaction was: Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, OH DAMN MOSS.

And that was how I knew I'd probably end up seeing this movie.

seriously. is there a new trend of hiring but not using great British comedic actors in American movies. First Chris O'Dowd did absolutely nothing in Bridesmaids, now this!

I just hope Ayoade is getting paid well enough to make his next movie, or at least start the 2nd Darkplace series.

fuzzayon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:50 p.m.

All I can think of is that Simpsons episode Homer the Vigilante. I wish I could find a decent video of that episode. This is all I could come up with!

ememon Feb. 29, 2012 at 3:53 p.m.

I love Richard Ayoade just like everybody else, but that trailer... brrrrr.

I am hoping the next trailer actually shows Ayoade talk, but not Vince Vaughn. I mean, the people behind this alone makes me want this to succeed, but this isn't a good start.

wreckson Feb. 29, 2012 at 4:01 p.m.

Burbs it.

MrMazzon Feb. 29, 2012 at 4:29 p.m.

Did they not talk alot because they can't act or because the jokes will be bad?

MKSKILLZ16on Feb. 29, 2012 at 4:40 p.m.

I'm interested because comedy and older, yet still quality comedians trying.

Milkmanon Feb. 29, 2012 at 5:35 p.m.
Yeah, okay Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn suck but holy shit, it's Moss!
AuthenticMon Feb. 29, 2012 at 6:07 p.m.

christ. That trailer killed this movie for me.

BaneFireLordon Feb. 29, 2012 at 7:39 p.m.

How the fuck do aliens have anything to do with this?

rem25on Feb. 29, 2012 at 7:53 p.m.

Fucking Jonah Hill. Will this guy climb back under the hole he came from already?
