Trailer: The Phantom Menace 3D

Admit it: you're totally going to go see this. Hey, at least we'll know we can go take a twenty-minute pee during most of the early Tatooine scenes.

The best thing to come out of this film was that song, Duel of the Fates.

CyleMooreon Nov. 3, 2011 at 7:57 a.m.

I probably won't see it.

Mr_skeletonon Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:01 a.m.

I will wait for the Blu-ray, oh wait it's already out.

cornBREDXon Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:09 a.m.

No. I wont be seeing this haha

I know there are people that actually like these movies though. Only fun part was the Darth Maul fight and even that isn't that great. I always thought the end of it was cheap. Besides they did that exact thing almost in the first Jedi Knight game and the Sith came back only with half a body. Although, I guess that was ridiculous- even for this movie.. meh don't know why I brought it up haha

I actually think this is a very underrated Star Wars film- I know there are huge problems with it, but all-in-all, putting aside the Star Wars mythos, it is entertaining, colorful, and has a number of visually spectacular scenes, from the gungan city beneath the seas to the spectacular podrace sequence and then the epic end battle. Darth Maul is silly but still a cool villain, and they have a great fight at the end. It's no masterpiece but it's far from terrible, and I think if people could just separate themselves from their Star Wars fandom and just look on it as a fun adventure movie, it's not bad at all. As for 3D, I'm just waiting for it to go away. Forever.

Sigh. Just take my money already Lucas.

skrutopon Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:27 a.m.

I'm not going to go see this, Rorie. I saw it enough times when it came out.

This trailer reminds me of the Star Wars special edition commercials. See it again, for the first time.

snake_runneron Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:53 a.m.

I'll see. I'm ashamed of myself, but I will see it.

HT101on Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:55 a.m.

@RockinKemosabe: You took the words right out of my mouth. My little cousin loves Star Wars and I'll see if I can take him to see this since he never saw it in theatres.

MrMazzon Nov. 3, 2011 at 8:59 a.m.

Yep I'm going to see it

hagridoreon Nov. 3, 2011 at 9 a.m.
If they made a Lego Star Wars film, I'd see that.
President_Barackbaron Nov. 3, 2011 at 9:19 a.m.

Hell no I'm not going to see it. I'd rather flush the $14 down the toilet than pay to see this cinematic abortion again.

Toxin066on Nov. 3, 2011 at 9:23 a.m.
I'll see it, begrudgingly.
Colonel_Furyon Nov. 3, 2011 at 9:43 a.m.

I'll see it, I'm even inventing a drinking game for it.

1. Sneak flask of hard booze in theater.

2. Drink each time Jake Lloyd or Jar Jar Binks is awful.

3. ???

4. Fun!

JoeyF moderator on Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:05 a.m.

This is a dumb idea.

I'll probably see it though.

HassleInTheCastleon Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:06 a.m.

I'll admit this might be my first 3d movie ever even though in a couple of clicks on my computer I could be watching the entire thing.

Darth Paulon Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:32 a.m.

The only things I'll ever pay to see in 3D!

EBBINon Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:35 a.m.

Darth Maul is the only reason this movie is anything.

csl316on Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:39 a.m.

I'm a little older and wiser now, let's see what happens.

Funky_Pasta_Tommyon Nov. 3, 2011 at 10:49 a.m.

Screw Geroge Lucas and screw Star Wars.
