Admit it: you're totally going to go see this. Hey, at least we'll know we can go take a twenty-minute pee during most of the early Tatooine scenes.

One of the most heavily hyped movies of all time, the first episode in the popular Star Wars saga follows two Jedi Knights as they try to protect the peaceful planet of Naboo from an invasion from the greedy Trade Federation.

The best thing to come out of this film was that song, Duel of the Fates.
I probably won't see it.
I will wait for the Blu-ray, oh wait it's already out.
No. I wont be seeing this haha
I know there are people that actually like these movies though. Only fun part was the Darth Maul fight and even that isn't that great. I always thought the end of it was cheap. Besides they did that exact thing almost in the first Jedi Knight game and the Sith came back only with half a body. Although, I guess that was ridiculous- even for this movie.. meh don't know why I brought it up haha
I actually think this is a very underrated Star Wars film- I know there are huge problems with it, but all-in-all, putting aside the Star Wars mythos, it is entertaining, colorful, and has a number of visually spectacular scenes, from the gungan city beneath the seas to the spectacular podrace sequence and then the epic end battle. Darth Maul is silly but still a cool villain, and they have a great fight at the end. It's no masterpiece but it's far from terrible, and I think if people could just separate themselves from their Star Wars fandom and just look on it as a fun adventure movie, it's not bad at all. As for 3D, I'm just waiting for it to go away. Forever.
Sigh. Just take my money already Lucas.
I'm not going to go see this, Rorie. I saw it enough times when it came out.
This trailer reminds me of the Star Wars special edition commercials. See it again, for the first time.
I'll see. I'm ashamed of myself, but I will see it.
@RockinKemosabe: You took the words right out of my mouth. My little cousin loves Star Wars and I'll see if I can take him to see this since he never saw it in theatres.
Yep I'm going to see it
Hell no I'm not going to see it. I'd rather flush the $14 down the toilet than pay to see this cinematic abortion again.
I'll see it, I'm even inventing a drinking game for it.
1. Sneak flask of hard booze in theater.
2. Drink each time Jake Lloyd or Jar Jar Binks is awful.
3. ???
4. Fun!
This is a dumb idea.
I'll probably see it though.
I'll admit this might be my first 3d movie ever even though in a couple of clicks on my computer I could be watching the entire thing.
The only things I'll ever pay to see in 3D!
Darth Maul is the only reason this movie is anything.
I'm a little older and wiser now, let's see what happens.
Screw Geroge Lucas and screw Star Wars.
