This Red Dawn-ish novel adaptation apparently was released in Australia in 2010, but it'll be getting a limited release Stateside this weekend.

"Ugh, this looks terrible...oh wait, what's this?.....Nope, still terrible."
Is the actual Red Dawn remake every going to come out?
I saw this come up in the feed and literally said "Didn't I watch this already?"
One of the later novels has the most amazing awkward sex scene.
I'm Australian.
Who the fuck would bother invading us?
Red Dawn 2: The New Zealand Front!
I saw this when I was studying abroad Australia in 2010. It is a complete rip-off of Red Dawn. Though the people who I was staying with didn't know what Red Dawn was & thought Red Dawn was a rip-off of this. (Red Dawn even came out 10 years before the books this movie is based on came out.)
Caitlin Jean Stasey = Super Cute
I sure hope the invading army is Greece, cause that's totally plausible.
@Milkman: You nailed it.

My thoughts exactly.
Then it hit me - this is Risk: The Movie.
Saw this when it came out. The pacing is fucking awful to the point of it ruining the film for me, which had never happened with any other film up until this point. The film ends just as you think it's going to properly begin. It's weird and I hate it.
Do not watch.
Yeesh, I remember seeing a trailer for this two years ago. Back when the Red Dawn Remake was actually gonna be released.
My name is Bear Grylls, and I am going to show you how to survive.............oh shit! *explosion*
If this scenario holds true to Risk logic, then the entire rest of the world has already been conquered by this army and this one group of teenagers will hold them off until the invaders just say "Goddamn Australia!" and flip the board over.
I remember seeing this last year or something like that. Not good, not bad, it's an okay movie if you have an hour+ to waist.
