This was the final nail in the coffin for me. The other 'jokes' preceding it were pretty terrible, but this made me want to punch my TV.
 
Not even the huge amount of action and explosions can justify this atrocity. What a shame.

I understand why you would hate the movie for that but I just saw it as an attempt at making a fun movie. It succeeded in my view.

Yeah it's a pretty shitty movie. The cartoon was shitty too. At least the robot movements in the film are done very well, but I guess that's what 99% of the budget went into.

It was just stupid fun. Light entertainment. Better than the awful cartoon series.
