Kyle and Sarah Miller live a life of ease with their 16-year-old daughter. However, when extortionist take over their house and demand $100k in cash; the Millers are willing to fight for what is rightfully theres, or die trying.

Trivia:

In the middle of filming, Nicholas Cage decided he wanted to play the bad guy rather than the victim, so production had to shut down until they could convince him to come back and finish the movie he had started filming.
