True Blood season 3 discussion thread!

If you are like myself a closeted vampire queen and adore program 's that allow you to explore your darker side of sex, love and life then True Blood is the show for you, throw in some old time southern music and sets an you got yourself a winner. 

 

Season 3 is already shaping up to be their best yet, with the cliff-hanger's from 2 still brooding nicely we now have a season that promises to bring so much more! I for one hope that whiny cow Sookie hooks up with Eric... and ditches the ever wooden lead vampire Bill

 



 
 

 So in between all this gut hurling romance we have some new characters to liven things up a bit!

I am a fan of True Blood.  Problem is that I will have to wait a while for it to show up in the UK since Season 2 finished here only several weeks ago.  Just love some of the little twists and turns the story seems to take and look forward to see what happens next.  Tried the novels they're based on but to tell you the truth, the series is actually better. Usually its the other way round.

@Linkyshinks: series one really lacked, but it got pretty good season 2. Its a lot of sex and blood but it has some really interesting characters.

I love this show! My Sunday will be full with the season finale of Breaking Bad, the first episode of Rubicon and this!!!

Really excited for the season premiere. I agree season one wasn't all that great, but I loved season 2. The farther off the deep end this show goes, the more I love it.

Can't wait for this to air in the UK <3. Absolutely adore True Blood. One of the only TV shows I put effort into keeping upto date with these days.

I've never been sure about True Blood: isn't it just like Twilight, but smuttier and in bumfuck Louisiana instead of Washington?

No, its a lot different (and way better) than Twilight. Its edgier and far more entertaining.

Interesting. I couldn't finish Season 1. It was just too boring for my tastes, but if you say it improves in Season 2, I may just have to check it out again.

I just finished watching episode three. I'm glad there are honorable werewolfs and that they're just not biker gangs. I was starting to get upset with that. I've always thought of werewolfs as more tragic figures than vampires.
