Oh Tyler Perry. You should be really thankful that you cater to an audience ( middle-age black women mostly) that no matter how little you try to improve as a filmmaker, how sloppy you're films are, that they will coin it a masterpiece and continue to give you the keys to hollywood. Sure For Colored Girls was the first really decent thing to come out of your filmography, but that is not saying much. At last we have yet another Madea movie...in the summer. Perhaps not a good idea when you're movie is going up against one with a cussing teddy bear and a solid pixar film. Oh well we have another Tyler Perry movie that my godmother dragged me to see and it..is...actually... the worst Madea film.

Problem number one: the witness protection storyline — that Levy's family is being hunted by a mob family named Malone — is ultimately abandoned. Its brought up at first, but never pays off and the main antagonist only shows up for 2 mins in the beginning and is never seen again. Two, why are prosecutors in Atlanta pursuing a Wall Street case and a New York crime syndicate anyway? Everything you have seen in a Madea film is likely in this movie, except it is not even on par with the other Madea films. Yeah the actors are pretty decent and Eugene Levy is entertaining, but that matters very little since the script and direction is so abysmal. To make matters worse, when the Madea character is not busy with bringing black families together and fighting against the evil black men, Madea just comes off as an embarrassing stereotype of a big sassy black woman than continues to test my patience.

I am telling you people, DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!! Go spend your money on Brave, Magic Mike, Abraham Lincoln or Ted. There is nothing redeeming about this movie. And after seeing how Think Like a Man showed us that it is possible to make a really decent film with a black cast that does not have to include a black guy in a fat suit, there is no excuse for Tyler Perry.

SOME OLE BULLS@#$ !!!!
