Written by the same husband-wife team that wrote several Batman: The Animated Series episodes, Van Helsing: The London Assignment is a 30-minute animated film that shows what happened before the beginning of the 2004 live-action movie Van Helsing. Helsing is on the heels of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, who has recently committed several brutal murders. The short film was released four days after its' live-action brother, Van Helsing.
