Also Rorie is super dreamy in this.
This is one of the best videos on Screened. I really loved the inclusion of the users comments in the end, keep up the good work.
well the movies is the smalles part of the SW universe, and I would argue that the least interesting part of it... though I think fans are making way too much of a fuzz of things like this, just enjoy the ride and if you don't like don't spend your time on it, whining like a baby only makes you look angry old person... IMO
I don't mind the midi-chlorians in the movies but it does take away from the mystical aspect of the force. I liked it better when they were wizards in space who would fight with light swords.
That being said I've found my self moving away from the lore surrounding the movies and becoming more interested in the old republic lore that is the basis for the Bioware games.
This.

And this.
I personally think people got so mad about the prequel trilogy because it wasn't what they wanted it to be so they decided to throw a tantrum about it. All nerds, myself included, always overreact when something we see or hear about our favorite franchise(s) doesn't mesh with what we think that franchise should be like.
As such, midichlorians never really bothered me. I still always thought of the Force as this big mystical energy field and the midichlorians were just a physical manifestation of it's presence. They always just came off to me as the bridge between the fantasy of the Force and the science fiction of the rest of the Star Wars universe.
Basically, a strong connection to the Force causes a high midichlorian count, not the other way around. After all, Qui Gon senses Anakin before he runs the blood test. The blood test just seemed a way to check for anomalies, after all, Qui Gon had never felt anyone that powerful, so it's understandable that'd he'd want to double check his feelings.
