Young Justice

Plot Summary

Aqualad,Robin and Kid Flash track down Speedy and again try to recruit him to the new team. Speedy refuses and they return to Mount Justice. The team is anxious for a mission begging Red Tornado for something to do. He insists they focus on team building skills since missions are Batmans job he is merely caretaker. Aqualad succinctly points out that this group is not a social club.

Bio Ships the only way to travel

Miss Martian decides to take everyone on a tour of the mountain since her and Superboy live there. During the tour each member reveals there secrete identity to each other except for Robin. Batman has told him to never reveal his face and his name to anyone. Miss Martian decides to be called Megan while Superboy dose not yet have an earth name. Megan uses her telepathy to talk to the team but that instead freaks them out and explain to her that on earth people don't read each others minds. To make up for it she shows them her bio-ship and they take it for a spin.

Mr Twister he isn't happy

While out flying they are alerted to a disturbance and a factory. While investigating they come across a villain named Mister Twister who has powers that mirror Red Tornado. The team not being fully prepared for battle fights Twister and is beaten back. Megan tries to read his mind but can not making her believe that Twister is Tornado in disguise. The team tries to call his bluff and leave but Megans assumption is wrong. The team is beaten back once again and is only saved by Megans Bio Ship covering them in stealth mode.

The team decides to send Megan back to the mountain while they take care of the now rampaging Twister. On her way back he pleas to Red Tornado for assistance go unanswered.

Young Justice Battle Pose off

In the city Twister is rampaging and calling out Tornado who eventually shows up and tells the remainder of the team to go back. The two weather weavers are equally matched in battle but Twister is able to get the upper hand. When trying to absorb Tornado he is beaten off by Megan who had shape shifted into Tornado to trick him. The team uses this opportunity to defeat Tornado who calls foul. Megan smashes him with a large boulder though much to the shock of her compatriots. This to was a android though and the team is relieved at this discovery.

During the debriefing Batman scolds the team for not calling in for reenforcement when they were clearly over matched. Batman complements them though for pulling together and taking out Twister anyways.
