I had no idea this was in production until today. IGN has posted up some impressions of the footage revealed at D23. It sounds brilliant!
Wreck-It Ralph is the titular star of Disney's new animated film. Ralph, villain of a videogame, spends days 'doing his job'; which involves wrecking buildings so the good guy, Fix-It Felix, can heroically repair them. When the game's housing arcade is shutdown for the night, Felix is welcomed by pie, and appreciative citizens, whilst scorned Ralph goes back to his garbage heap home. The film looks to focus on a help group called "Bad-Anon", comprised of villains that wish they were heroes.
Brings to mind Despicable Me. I'm pretty amped.
