X-Men: First Class Trailer 2

This trailer got me interested. From the looks of it though, by the end of the movie the audience might be on Magneto's side which would go against the purpose of the Xmen. I hope they don't plan on making Magneto do something comically evil at the end of the movie just to make the audience dislike him.
The trouble I find with these franchises, is that once they mess them up (Read that as X-Men 3), then I sort of lose interest in the whole lot. Like X-Men 3, this isn't being written by Solid Snake (Aka David Hayer http://www.screened.com/david-hayter/14-221060/).
I'm still trying to get over the Star Trek remake, which had such convenient plot holes the size of planets, that I don't really trust them to get any of these remakes and reboots right.

"I dont think so, through out the trailer he seems to be slipping to the evil side. Prof X is talking about how if he kills there will never be peace, while he says he never wanted it. That doesn't sound like someone you want to be siding with.
