Having visited a village she had destroyed, Xena regrets her past misdeeds and decides to cast aside her weapons and armour. But she soon encounters Draco's troops terrorising villagers and intervenes. Gabrielle, one of the saved villagers, tries to persuade a reluctant Xena to let her tag along.
Villagers are rebuilding their homes when they are attacked by a force led by Sphaerus, a local Warlord's son. Xena is injured while staving off the attack and finds herself recovering in an ex-soldier's home. Meanwhile Cycnus the Warlord is trying to teach his son Sphaerus the desire to kill.
Worshippers of Morpheus the God of Dreams kidnap Gabrielle and insist she must kill in order to become the God's bride. Xena enters the dreamscape to rescue her but must overcome her dark past to do so.
King Gregor hears a prophecy that a child will replace him on the throne. He orders its capture but his ambitious adviser Nemos wants it dead. Xena & Gabrielle find the child and Pandora, the keeper of a box that contains mankind's hope.
A young loving couple from opposing kingdoms are soon to be married but the woman is kidnapped by a plotting arms dealer, Mezentius. Xena's help is sought in her rescue. She seeks out Mezentius and discovers an old flame in his employ. Mezentius plots to plunge the two kingdoms into war to further his own profits.
A mysterious hooded warrior slaughters some innocent villagers. Xena leaps to their defence but is inadvertently framed for the crime. She is put on trial but Gabrielle is determined to prove her innocence.
Gabrielle inadvertently awakens three titans. They do her bidding believing her to be a goddess. She employs them to protect the town but when one of them begins to suspect she is not as godly as she claims things start to go sour.
Prometheus has been captured by the Gods. As a result, people have lost the ability to heal themselves. Xena, Gabrielle, Hercules and Iolaus team up in a bid to free him. Only the blade of Hephaestus can break Prometheus's chains but whoever strikes the blow will be destroyed.
King Sisyphus is determined not to die and captures Celesta, Goddess of Death, to prevent it from happening. But it also prevents everyone else from dying too. Hades enlists Xena to rescue his sister Celesta to restore death and prevent eternal suffering.
Xena, Gabrielle and an Amazon patrol are caught in an ambush. Gabrielle tries to save Terreis, a wounded Amazon. She gives Gabrielle the "right of caste" and inherits her title of Amazon Princess. Meanwhile Xena investigates the attack to prevent a war between Amazons and Centaurs.
A rebellious gang led by the Black Wolf fights against the oppressive regime of Xerxes, an unsympathetic ruler. They are captured but no-one knows the identity of the Black Wolf. Xena plots to find out who it is before Xerxes does and break them out of jail.
Helen of Troy sends message for Xena's help. She wants Xena to take her to King Menelaus in the hope of stopping the Trojan War. While inside Troy, Gabrielle meets Perdicus from her home village. The man she was to marry before she left to join Xena.
Gabrielle finds an outlet for her skills as a Bard in a competition at the Bard's Academy in Athens. She also tries to advise a disillusioned competitor. This show contains various archive clips from Xena, Hercules and some classic films.
Xena must seek the Titan Key which gives access to Ambrosia, the food of the gods that can imbue godhood, to prevent others from using it. The Samarian treasure that contains this key is being tracked down by an Assassin and a Warlord. Xena needs their help to find it.
King Lias of Thrace asks for Xena's help in saving his daughter's life. Xena is an exact lookalike of the princess and takes her place to protect her and stop the assassins.

Gabrielle loses her nerve after an unfortunate encounter with bandits. She decides to return home and partakes on a soul-searching journey. Once back home she finds they are troubled by looting bandits. The villagers have hired Meleager The Mighty to stop them but Gabrielle needs to sober him up first.
Xena and Garbrielle encounter a young boy fleeing from his father's kingdom because they want to sacrifice him. They keep him safe while Xena investigates. His father is very religious and obeys the voice of his God. But his God insists upon the death of the child.
The warlord Kirilus is busy enslaving women when Ares the God of War appears and goads him into confronting Xena. Meanwhile, an old warrior is struggling to free some of these women. Xena and Gabrielle help him free them but he then claims to be Xena's father.
Salmoneus has angered the warlord Talmadeus by selling him shoddy equipment. Xena defends the village Salmoneus has set up shop in but is struck by a poison dart. Xena lays helpless from the poison forcing Gabrielle to take her place in defending the village against Talmadeus's wrath.
Callisto, a formidable warrior woman, leads an army in a campaign of death and destruction spreading word that Xena is responsible. Xena sets out to stop her but discovers that, in her dark past, she was responsible for the death of Callisto's family. Callisto wants revenge for their deaths.
Xena discovers Cortese's men are attacking a small town. In Xena's youth, he destroyed her village and killed her younger brother Lyceus, twisting her into the figure of evil that she used to be. Now, she must work with her estranged older brother, Toris, to bring Cortese down.
Xena and Gabrielle bring wounded to a Thessalian temple of healing amidst civil war with the Mitoans. Amongst their number are a pregnant Ephiny and a Mitoan general. Xena uses her medical knowledge to help the wounded and hopes to make the general realise what a waste this war is.
Xena is on the trail of Dagnine, a warrior that used to serve Xena in her dark past. He desires the Ixion Stone which can imbue him with the evil power of the Centaurs. Dagnine's trail leads Xena to the Centaur camp where she left her baby son years ago.

Girls are going missing from villages near the Bacchae forest, the hunting ground for Bacchus, the God of Wine. The music of Orpheus is normally heard there for it tames the vampiric Bacchae but it is now silent. Xena must find Orpheus and defeat Bacchus to restore order.
Callisto attempts a prison break in order to exact her revenge on Xena and Gabrielle. Meanwhile Perdicus has sought out Gabrielle and asks for her hand in marriage.
King Lias is very ill and has called for Xena to oversee Princess Diana's (an exact lookalike of Xena) transition to the throne. But Agis schemes to replace Diana with Meg, another Xena lookalike, in order to gain power.
Xena's dreams are plagued with the guilt of Callisto's death. The spirit of Callisto and Ares trick her into admitting to murder. This enables them to swap the souls of Xena and Callisto into each other's bodies.

Macedonia, 1940. The archaeologist Janice Covington is excavating for the fabled Xena Scrolls but other parties are also interested in acquiring them. They document tales of the legendary warrior Xena and are very valuable.
Salmoneus sends for Xena's help at a beauty pageant he is organising. It is to celebrate a year of peace between three kingdoms but someone is sabotaging the pageant and threatening the fragile truce. Xena becomes an entrant to uncover the truth.
While rescuing a child from a deadly trap, Xena is severely wounded. Xena requests that Gabrielle take her to the healer Nicklio. During the arduous journey, Xena slips into a coma and recalls her first meetings with Caesar ten years ago while she was still Destroyer of Nations.
Xena is dead and Gabrielle is bringing her body back to Amphipolis. Gabrielle's Amazon tribe want to give Xena an Amazon cremation and for Gabrielle to assume the role of Amazon queen but the ambitious Amazon Velasca has other plans. Meanwhile, Autolycus is persuaded to intervene.
The scheming Velasca still lives. She consumes some ambrosia and becomes a god. She is determined to wreak revenge on Gabrielle. Xena must enlist the help of an unlikely ally to stop her - Callisto.
Xena must figure out how to stop a Warlord from looting a village and prevent a giant from attacking another at the same time. But this pales in comparison to trying to put off an unwanted admirer and making do without a frying pan.
Aphrodite persuades Joxer to give an enchanted bell to Princess Ileandra to break up her romance with Prince Sarpedon. She fears she will lose some of her temples if they stay together. Whenever the bell is rung it transforms Joxer into a dashing, desirable hero that even Ileandra can't resist.
Xena and Gabrielle respond to an urgent message from Meleager the Mighty. He has been arrested and found guilty of murder. Gabrielle's belief in his innocence is unwavering but the evidence is stacked against him.
Palaemon, a misguided warrior, goads Xena into a fight to try and increase his reputation. During the fight Xena's eyes are splashed with Sumac Oil which causes blindness. She must find a cure before it becomes permanent but Gabrielle's life is in danger and only Palaemon knows where she is.
Xena and Gabrielle come to the aid of Ulysses, King of Ithaca. He is being tormented by Poseidon, God of the Sea, and longs to return home to reunite with his wife and save his kingdom. He discovers he has strong feelings for Xena which may jeopardise his quest.
An army of savages known as The Horde are terrorising the area. Xena and Gabrielle take refuge in an Athenian outpost but the troops are demoralised. Xena takes charge but Gabrielle is horrified by Xena's hardened attitude. Gabrielle looks after the wounded and seeks a compassionate end to the conflict.
Xena and Gabrielle find themselves aboard the ship of the Lost Mariner, Cecrops. All that board his ship are doomed to man it for eternity or until Cecrops can break Poseidon's curse. Gabrielle also has to cope with a bout of seasickness.
Cupid's baby son Bliss causes mischief by firing love arrows at people. It causes them to fall in love with the next person they see. Xena, Gabrielle and the warlord Draco are caught in the crossfire. Amidst the chaos Xena needs to stop Draco from kidnapping the virgins of Hestia.
Ares demands The Furies pass judgment on Xena. They condemn her to both persecution and madness. Xena must avenge the death of her father to break the affliction. She returns home to uncover the truth while Gabrielle tries to look after her.
Xena is reliving the same day over and over and must figure out what events will trigger her freedom from this eternal torment.
Ares is providing an army with the impervious metal of Hephaestus and they are devastating all opponents. Xena puts together a band of warriors to take on Ares and stop this army's onslaught but they are very distrustful of each other.
Xena frees some men captured by Caesar and discovers that Boadicea is fighting him in Britannia. This drives Xena to help Boadicea in order get her revenge on Caesar. Meanwhile Gabrielle befriends one of the rescued captives, Khrafstar, first priest of the temple of the one god.
Gabrielle cannot forgive herself for taking another life. Her dreams are plagued with the event and Xena can't alleviate Gabrielle's physical illness. While seeking passage back to Greece some banshees insist on caring for her. They flee to the Warriors of the Pierced Heart but they disagree about protecting Gabrielle.
A dying messenger brings word that "The Green Dragon has become too large and must be made small". Xena recounts meeting Lao Ma to explain why she must set off for the land of Chin alone on a mission of murder, but Gabrielle doesn't want her to become an assassin.
Xena's assassination attempt has failed. She awaits her fate in Ming T'ien's dungeon while Gabrielle pleas for her freedom. Gabrielle also implores the Emperor to let her visit Xena. She wants to explain and beg her forgiveness for thwarting her mission.
Autolycus works with an assassin to steal a sword. He later discovers that it's Joxer's twin brother Jett. Autolycus, Gabrielle and Joxer work out that he must be planning to assassinate Cleopatra. Gabrielle convinces them to help stop him.
Another Xena lookalike, a Hestian priestess, is trying to spread the word of peace but Gabrielle is forced to save her life. Someone is manipulating the Hestian worshippers into endangering their lives. Xena and Gabrielle investigate and discover that Meg is somehow involved.
Aphrodite is upset at the desecration of her temple. Ares convinces Aphrodite that Gabrielle is at the heart of the problem with her tales of Xena. Aphrodite enchants Gabrielle's scroll enabling anything she writes to become a reality, hoping it will dissuade her from writing further tales.
Xena and Gabrielle revisit the centaur camp where her son Solan lives. A treaty is being made to form a Centaur nation but Callisto has arisen from the depths to wreak havoc once again. Meanwhile Gabrielle reunites with Ephiny and befriends a young girl.
Xena blames Gabrielle for the death of her son, Solan. Gabrielle is grief-stricken over Solan and Hope's deaths but is also angry with Xena. In the midst of confrontation they are flung into the musical land of Illusia. They must figure out why they are there and how to escape.
A Persian army is invading Greece and Xena plans to slow them down so that word can reach Athens in time. They are ambushed by Persian scouts and Gabrielle is shot with a poison arrow. Xena is torn between stopping the Persians and saving Gabrielle before it's too late.
Disciples of Apollo plea with Xena to retrieve their stolen urn. Gabrielle is assaulted by Tara, a misguided girl who thinks she can replace her as Xena's partner. She follows them in their hunt for the stolen urn and tests Gabrielle's patience to the limit.
Joxer wins big at the Game House but the owner, Titus, hates losing. His thugs beat Joxer and try to retrieve the winnings but two con artists have already swindled him of it. Xena enlists these con men to exact revenge upon Titus by conning him of all his money.
Vercinix leads the Gauls in repelling the Roman invasion but he is captured by Caesar to use as a symbol in his political machinations. Xena captures Crassus, a Roman Commander, to trade him for Vercinix. She also hopes to take advantage of Caesar and Pompey's rivalry.
Gabrielle is still plagued with the painful memories of her betrayal of Xena, Hope's evil deeds and Hope's death. She enters the temple of Mnemosyne, Goddess of Memory, and partakes in a trial to understand the pain and decide if she wants all her memories to be erased.
Aphrodite has the Northern Star stolen to have it shot into the night sky in her honour. Xena, Gabrielle and Joxer are out to stop her but she creates a bottle of obsession to use against them. Sniffing it will make you obsessed with whatever you are thinking of.
While trying to talk to Autolycus on a moored boat, Gabrielle is inadvertently caught aboard as it sets sail. Xena quickly joins them as it departs but the boat eventually gets caught in a tidal wave and capsizes. Xena, Gabrielle, Autolycus and the other survivors must escape before they drown.
A giant gold statue of Pax, the personification of peace, is stolen during a festival in her honour. Autolycus enlists the help of Xena and Gabrielle to help him steal it back his way so as to preserve his reputation as the King of Thieves.
Xena and Gabrielle save Gabrielle's friend Seraphin from being sacrificed by followers of Dahak but she has been brainwashed to serve his will. Meanwhile Callisto is attempting to resurrect Hope and Ares is forming an army to oppose her.
Hope is alive and has taken Gabrielle's form. Gabrielle owes a favour to Ares and is told that if Xena kills Hope then The Fates will kill Xena. Gabrielle is torn between saving Xena or stopping Hope. Meanwhile Callisto grows impatient with Hope delivering on her promise to destroy her.
Xena is grief-stricken over the loss of Gabrielle and is tracking her down in the Amazon spiritual realm. She is reminded of Alti, a powerful and evil shamaness from her dark past. Xena also wants to atone for her past Amazon crimes and must face Alti to do so.
Xena prepares the Amazons for the upcoming battle against Alti and also remembers encounters from her dark past with Cyane, a powerful Amazon queen. While battling Xena, Alti shocks her with a vision of the future.
Xena is reunited with Gabrielle in her home village of Potidaea but all is not what it seems and a mysterious beast is killing livestock and people. Meanwhile Gabrielle's father resents Xena's influence on his daughter.
Xena and Gabrielle are tracking down Xena's horse Argo. They run into Joxer who wants help protecting a village from marauders. Xena is afflicted by lice and Gabrielle is suffering a severe skin rash and they are both cranky as a result. Meanwhile the marauders have found Argo.
Caesar and Pompey take their civil war to Greece. Xena plans to have their forces wipe each other out to stem the loss of life and resources and force them to retreat back to Rome. Gabrielle is tasked with leading a defence against Roman attack and learns a hard lesson.
Xena and Gabrielle come across Tara being punished in a town that forbids dancing. Xena calls in a favour with Autolycus to help persuade Istafan, the chief magistrate, to change its laws.
Xena is wanted for the murder of Thalassa, an innocent woman that Xena met when she was Destroyer of Nations. She lets herself be arrested and put on trial. She is found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment on Shark Island and goes willingly, insisting on answering for her crime.
Xena and Gabrielle meet Najara, a highly skilled warrior on a personal crusade to rid the land of evil. She communes with the Jinn, spiritual guides that only she can hear and invites Xena and Gabrielle in her fight against Marat, a local slave trader.
Xena and Gabrielle warn the city of Actus of impending attack. The methods used remind Xena of the same tactics she used in the Battle of Corinth as Destroyer of Nations. She is convinced that someone from that time is using her own tactics against her now.
Autolycus meets Meg, a Xena lookalike, and Joxer. They are planning to steal the Crown of Athena and want to employ Autolycus's expertise in stealing the key that will provide access to the crown.
Xena discovers that a young girl living amongst The Horde could be Rahl's long lost daughter Vanessa. Rahl used to serve in Xena's army and she feels obligated to tell him the news. They plan a rescue but it's more complicated than they hoped for.
Xena, Gabrielle and Joxer find Aphrodite trying to entertain Princess Alesia. The young child has run away from home because she doesn't like her new step mother. They all try to reassure her with their own versions of fairy tales while they take her back home to her distraught parents.
