Zed is a savage warrior living in a post-apocalyptic future. Zed worships a stone head called Zardoz. Zardoz promises that when they die, they will go to the Vortex, a community inhabited by immortals. But when Zed finds himself inside Zardoz's mouth, he sets out to discover its secrets.
