Eufy used the IFA show in Berlin to refresh most of its security line, with a bias toward local recording and no monthly fees.

What is new
- NVR Security System E50. A wired system that pairs 2K bullet cameras with a 4K pan-tilt-zoom dual-lens camera, using Eufy’s OmniTrack AI to hand a moving subject from one camera to the next. The four-camera kit is $999 and the eight-camera kit $1,599, on sale now in the US, Canada and Australia. Video records to the NVR’s local drive, with no subscription required.
- Video Doorbell S4. A 9-megapixel sensor with a 180-degree field of view, so you can see a package on the step and a face at the door in one frame. $299, shipping late September.
- Window Camera E10. A 2.5K indoor camera that mounts to glass and looks out, with an F1.0 lens for color night vision and a 25-degree tilt. $70, later in 2026. It is aimed at renters and anyone who cannot mount hardware outside.
- Fall Detection Sensor. A millimeter-wave radar unit with two-way talk that detects a fall in a room without a camera or a wearable, pitched at households caring for older relatives.
Anker also showed a new Omni E35 robot vacuum and a robot lawnmower, neither of which is a security product.
Why it matters
Eufy’s pitch has always been local storage with no recurring fee, against Ring and Nest, whose best features sit behind $10 to $20 a month subscriptions. The E50 pushes that into the wired, multi-camera territory that used to belong to Reolink and Lorex, and the doorbell’s resolution is the highest we have seen on a consumer unit. The trade-off is Eufy’s own record: it was caught in 2022 uploading thumbnails to the cloud despite “local only” marketing, and it has spent the years since rebuilding trust with end-to-end encryption and third-party audits.
What to weigh before buying
A $999 wired kit is a different purchase from a $70 window camera. If you want no subscription and do not mind running cable, the E50 is now the strongest option at its price. If you want the simplest install, a battery Eufy or a Wyze camera with local storage costs a fraction of that. And whichever you choose, check how the brand handles your footage, because the privacy policy matters more than the megapixels.
